Spring in the Season of Love – Book Now!
6 April 2016

Got the post-Easter break blues? The Bagri Foundation is on it. In what sounds like a genius collaboration with the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, they’re hosting a celebration of spring-time and love through classical music, Indian miniatures, and story-telling this coming Wednesday.

There will be classical singing by Meeta Pandit, accompanied by Sanju Sahai on tabla, Rekesh Chauhan on harmonium and Mitel Purohit on dholak, Darshana Vora and Dipti Vyas on tanpura.

And one of London’s favourite story-tellers (one that we certainly look forward to seeing every so often) Dr Vayu Naidu will enthrall with epic tales from Indian folk literature. All of this set against beautiful Indian Miniatures and we’re there faster than you can say ‘love’.

When: Wednesday 6 April 2016, 7pm

Where: Brunei Gallery Lecture Theatre, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London, WC1H OXG

Tickets: £15, £20, £25 (£8 for students with a valid ID)
